Who I am
I am a true servant leader with a passion for developing leaders. I am a leader who believes that integrity, competency, collaboration, and execution is the catalyst to goal achievement. I understand wholeheartedly that the key to successful leadership is influence and impact, not authority. I have served in a variety of educational roles in Maryland and North Carolina and currently serve as an elementary principal in Maryland.
I am a graduate of Howard University, Walden University, Johns Hopkins University, National-Louis University, and Winston-Salem State University. I am also a part of the 2019 Harvard Graduate School of Education Women in Education Leadership Cohort.
I am also a best-selling author, publisher, podcaster, interview show host, and Editor-in-Chief of Vision & Purpose Lifestyle Magazine.
Why I Joined BWEL
I joined BWEL because the mission of the organization aligns with the work that I do with women in educational leadership.
